For Whom?
The programme is aimed for:
- team coaches, who have obtained the basic Team Mastery training and have been coaching and leading teams,
- those who wish to move focus of expertise from the individual team to the community and network level,
- those interested in systemic team coaching and coaching leadership that can be applied in any development, management or leadership positions.
Why?
Coaching skills are essential in team leadership and team learning. In the programme you will:
- deepen your understanding of the possibilities of team coaching,
- develop capabilities to foster a team learning community and the team learning model,
- learn to implement and support change processes,
- become a coach for team coaches and a network agent.
What?
The programme provides you with
- a professional development programme lasting for app.12 months,
- a facilitated learning process coached by experienced coaching professionals,
- a team learning experience in an international context,
- a possibility for personal and skills development.
- Three individual coaching sessions to enhance your learning process.
When and where?
The process starts in November 2024 and ends in October 2025.
The programme consists of four (4) sessions each lasting three (3) days. Sessions takes place in UK, Czech and Finland (two times).

Session 1: Team coaching skills and team learning

Self-development as a team coach. Belbin’s team roles – own roles and roles in teams. Deepening understanding of team learning and development, as well as team dynamics. The participants make the Belbin Team Role test before the first session.

Session 2: Co-production and networks
22.–24.1.2025, Finland
Coaches Terhi Skaniakos and Elinor Vettraino. (joined with a Finnish Senior Team Coach Programme)
A systemic perspective to coahing and networks. Teams functioning and interacting in the operating environments and contexts. Partnerships and co-creation in networks.

Session 3: Leading teams: Liaison of the team coach and team leader, team entrepreneurship
28.-30.5.2025, Basque country, Bilbao.

Leadership perspective to team coaching, especially the liaison between the team coach and the team leaders. The Prerequisites and opportunities for enabling and creating team entrepreneurship.

Session 4: The future: big picture and ecosystem & small picture and self-leadership,
17.-19.9.2025, Czech, Switzerland or Spain.

Conceptualizing and modeling the ecosystem, putting innovations into practice. Becoming active development and change agents. Self-development as a team coach and self-leadership.

Programme fee
Standard price: 8 900 € / person + Finnish VAT if applicable.
In addition to the program fee, each participant will pay all accommodation, travel and food expenses directly to third-party service providers (e.g. hotels, restaurants).

- Elinor is fundamentally a learner and she believes in supporting others to learn; about themselves and their impact on the world. It’s why she is using coaching as a way of helping individuals, teams and organisations ask and answer their ’why’.A two-time TEDx speaker, a creative writer, an experienced leader and manager, and an accidental academic, she specialise in bringing creativity, playfulness and supportive challenge to the work that she does. Elinor is the editor of book series Routledge Focus on Team Academy.

Dr. Aitor Lizartza Martin
- Entrepreneurship director, Entrepreneurship department, MTA, Team Academy, Mondragon University.
- PhD in Bioentrepreneurship in Mondragon University’s School of Management, Basque Country (Spain).
- Aitor Lizartza Martin is the co-founder of Mondragon Team Academy’s entrepreneurship unit in Mondragon University, which started in 2008, and has been closely involved in the design of the degree in entrepreneurial leadership and innovation (LEINN), (which has been verified by ANECA, as the Spanish accreditation entity, in 2009). Since 2016, Aitor directs the Mondragon Team Academy-Entrepreneurship unit.The network of Mondragon Team Academy currently has a community of more than 2000 people who have been involved LEINN degree and graduate programs in entrepreneurship, 10 Laboratories of entrepreneurship (Irún, Oñate, Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Querétaro and Seoul, Shanghai) and has created more than 50 companies & startups.

Hanna Waldén
- Tiimiakatemia® Master Team Coach, Tiimiakatemia Global Ltd.
- Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Business Competences
- Hanna has worked as an expert in teamwork and management and as an entrepreneur since 1995. During this time, he acted as a responsible coach in more than a hundred long-term trainings on teams, entrepreneurship, management and development activities in Finland and abroad. Hanna was part of Team Academy’s first legendary RTW (Round The World) team.
